Cathy: Um, this movie was pretty bad. The boom mic was clearly visable in one shot. Donnie Wahlberg's character doesn't show up until 30 minutes into the film, and he has maybe 5 minutes of screen time in the whole thing. The only reason to rent this would be if you have the hots for Eric Mabius (from tv's Ugly Betty). After a tragedy, an all-American swim team kid's parents move him from California to Washington to "start over" and he falls in with the wrong crowd. Can he get himself out before it's too late? Who cares? The plot is boring and formulaic, and there's no character development to speak of. Donnie plays an older member, possibly the leader but they never say, of their pseudo-satanic cult.
