Cathy: This is the story of an unemployed writer in a small Oregon town, played by David Schwimmer, who is desperate to support his family and takes a job at a call center. There, he is befriended by Simon Pegg's character, who confides in him a blackmail scheme. The plan quickly unravels and goes from bad to worse to worst. There aren't really any stand-out reasons to recommend this, though. It was okay. It has some moments of black comedy, but overall it was a little underwhelming. |
