Cathy: This movie is set at prestigious Bristol University in 1985. James McAvoy plays the lead, a working class boy with intellectual aspirations. He is accepted at Bristol and joins the University Challenge quiz team, which has lost the championship three years running. Do they have a chance this year with their mismatched team? Along the way, James has dueling love interests, and has to introduce his new college crowd to his blue-collar best friend. I found it very funny, with very likable characters and a great soundtrack.
