Cathy: Based on a true story, Ron Livingston plays the lead (as well as co-produced the film), a Vietnam veteran with hearing loss whose personal struggle leads him to activism, which in turn helps to bring about the Americans with Disabilities Act. I really like Ron, so I really liked this movie, but I don't hide my bias - I can't say whether someone indifferent to Ron, or costar Michael Sheen, would enjoy this film as much as I did. Michael Sheen plays a man with cerebral palsy, and his portrayal was heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time (if Tom Hanks can win an Oscar for "Forrest Gump", I'm a little frustrated at the lack of recognition Sheen has received for this role). The supporting cast is solid, the writing and direction weren't bad. I would recommend it, with the disclaimer of my bias.
