REVIEWS Title The Rector's Wife Date(s) 1994 Episode(s) 4 episodes (mini-series) Genre, Network drama (PBS) Role Luke Bouverie Caps 87 Cathy: It was hard for me to get into this TV miniseries, based on the constrained social life of a British rector's wife, since I have no basis for comparison as a non-religious American. I can't really think of a reason to rent it - Lindsay Duncan is good as the title character, but the story as a whole is a downer, and Stephen Dillane has a small supporting role, but not enough that I would say it's worth watching all four hours. Simon Fenton plays the small part of the rector's son.
